Operation mode: Micro dosing Fine dosing SPA are designed for feeding in" batch mode" (micro filling applications). Materials: From the very fine powders (lactose, Mg stearate...) to granules, micro feeders SPA accept many ingredients types thanks to an efficient and perfectly controlled extraction. However, the powder physical properties impact performances of the feeder, eg particle size can limit feeding accuracy. Finally, a pilot test can quickly establish the actual performances.
Performance: Characterized by both dosing time and accuracy. Dosing time and accuracy move in opposite directions. For feeders equipped with weighed swivelling tanks, powder discharge andbalance stabilisation take about 2 secondes.
Cleaning - Hygiene: All MCPI feeders are designed to facilitate and reduce time for cleaning operations. Parts in contact with material can be easily dismounted and decontaminated by heat sterelisation.
