All MCPI Fine dosing ® dispensers are based on a single principle of extraction (asymmetric horizontal oscillations).

From this common  technology, we offer a range of gravimetric or volumetric feeders, operating in batch or continuous modes.

Each feeder MCPI offers the benefits of MCPI Fine dosing ® technology, namely:

The different modes of feeding and some bases for selection are described here:

Continuous and batch feedings:

  • Batch feeding : addition of a fixed quantity , for example, filling a container.

  • Continuous metering mode to add a constant mass flow, eg add 10 kg / h of additive in a reactor.

Batch and volumetric feeders

Criteria for selection of a dosing MCPI Fine dosing ®:
  • The volumetric feeders operate without mass measurement
  • Gravimetric feeders are equipped with a load cell.

        Volumetric and gravimetric feeders can be operated in batch or continuous modes.

 The dosed quantity is not measured (so one can't be sure of the quantity actually dosed)

Feeding repeatability depends on the physical conditions of material and environment:

the flowability of the material (particle size and shape, moisture, density, settlement).

MCPI specialist of precision feeding offers accurate load cells integrated into its feeders.

In batch mode, we offer sensors with  resolution between 1 g and 0.1 mg (the term "resolution" is to be understood as the quality of the load cell, dosing accuracy is lower). The resolution depends on the range of the sensor (eg the capacity of a sensor with a resolution of 0.1 mg is limited to 200 g).

In continuous mode, loads cells has a resolution between 2 g and 0.1 g.

For an easier  understanding we have classified our feeders from A Class  to 4A Class, depending on the quality of the load cell.

The ingredient flowability variations are compensated by metrology, automatic calculation of the overshoot corrects feeding drifts.

Oui, la fonction est intégrée dans les contrôleurs de dosage MCPI. Le transfert des résultats est très  simple (par l'usage d'une clé USB). Les résultats sont présentés sous forme de fichier "trace" (compatible sous "Excel").

Cost

Economical, one feeder for a high cadency

More expensive due to a lower cadency and a more sophisticated  technical solution.

 

 2 configurations for batch gravimetric feeding :

Dosage in a rotary bowl mounted on the scale: the feeding is performed in blinked time while handling container to fill.

For example, on an automatic dosing line, feeding is performed during positioning of the container to fill

Direct feeding in the package (which is lay on the scale).

This configuration is reserved for the feedings where the container is placed on the load cell.
